General terms and conditions (GTC) for renting a holiday apartment Scope These general terms and conditions regulate the contractual relationship between the landlord and the tenant of a holiday apartment. Differing conditions from the tenant only apply if they have been expressly confirmed in writing by the landlord. Booking and conclusion of contract The holiday apartment can be booked in writing, by email or by telephone. The rental agreement is concluded when the booking is confirmed by the landlord. The tenant is obliged to provide all information truthfully. 3 . Payment terms The total rental price and any additional costs must be paid in full before arrival, unless otherwise agreed. Payment can be made by bank transfer or in cash. 4. Cancellation If you cancel up to 30 days before arrival, 20% of the total rental price will be refunded. If you cancel later, you are not entitled to a refund unless the holiday apartment can be rented out elsewhere. 5. Deposit The landlord is entitled to demand a deposit. This will be refunded upon proper return of the holiday apartment. Any damage or loss will be deducted from the deposit. 6. Use of the holiday apartment The holiday apartment may only be used by the number of people specified in the rental agreement. Subletting or transferring the property to third parties is not permitted. The tenant must treat the holiday apartment with care and be liable for any damage. 7. Liability The landlord is not liable for any damage, loss or accidents suffered by the tenant during their stay in the holiday apartment. The renter is strongly recommended to take out travel insurance. 8. House rule The tenant undertakes to comply with the house rules and to be considerate of other guests. Rest periods must be observed and noise must be avoided. 9. Data protection The data provided by the tenant will only be used to process the rental agreement and will not be passed on to third parties. 10. Severability clause If individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions are or become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. 11. Place of jurisdiction German law applies to disputes arising from this contract. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the landlord. As of: 11/17/23
